RTD were asked to help Stagecoach increase their brand awareness to help drive on-bus sales for their key ticketing markets over a 6 week period. Using targeted advertising, we decided that Facebook would be the most effective platform to reach potential bus users. The adverts were designed to drive traffic through to the Stagecoach website, to inform visitors of the features and benefits of travelling by bus and providing them a facility to book online.
Over the 6 weeks, the adverts delivered outstanding results with a relatively low media spend. Through detailed market analysis we created a number of persona’s most likely to engage with Stagecoach Manchester. Using our specialist tools and split testing analytic systems, we were able to serve relevant content to over 260,000 active Facebook users throughout the course of the campaign.
