7 ways to boost sales for your Bedroom Furniture company in 2020

54% of homeowners change their master bedroom during a renovation or decorating project (Source: Houzz), but how do you make sure YOUR bedroom furniture company is the one they find when they do their research online?

Here are 7 ways to boost your sales for your business in 2020:

1. Promote your products online

Online advertising is a proven way to target and reach audiences who are actively seeking new bedroom furniture. They include:

Google Adwords: These ads appear at the top of Google search result pages, against search criteria that you set (such as specific keywords and location). You pay each time someone clicks on the ad, but you can set a monthly or daily budget according to what you are prepared to spend.

Facebook and Instagram Ads: These are highly targeted ads that appear on people’s Facebook and Instagram news feeds. Thanks to Facebook’s intelligent data, you are able to specifically target people based on age, location, interests and behaviour to ensure your ad is seen by the right people at the right time.

2. Retarget ‘warmer’ leads

What about customers who click through your paid ad (as above) but don’t follow through to making an enquiry? Retargeting ads allow you to ‘follow’ your potential customer around the web to constantly remind them of your products. According to Software Advice, when a prospect sees a retargeting ad, there’s a 70% chance that they’ll purchase your product over your competitor’s.

3. Generate content that people are looking for

If you want more leads for your business, you need to start by getting more traffic to your website, and a blog is a great way to do this.  Blog articles need to be relevant, unique and interesting.  They also need to contain the right keywords so that they get found in search engines when your potential customers are researching for their bedroom project.

4. Compelling case studies

Case studies are a powerful way to tell a story about how you delivered a great product and service to your customers.  Video case studies are easy for people to watch and engage with and will also perform better in search engines than just written content. Use them on your website and social media pages to tell a great story and attract more customers.

5. Create a lead magnet

When you’ve worked so hard to get people to visit your website how are you going to entice them to make an enquiry or find out more about your products? We’re not just talking about a free bedroom furniture brochure, but something of more value such as a Bedroom Inspiration Guide for 2020. Make sure that you are collecting their name, email address and phone number to allow them to download the guide so that you can follow them up as a lead.

6. Freshen up your lead forms

Talking of collecting data, make sure your forms on your website are easy to complete. If you ask for too much information, the customer is unlikely to fill it out.  Finally, ensure you have a process to follow up on those leads after a customer has requested a brochure or downloaded a guide on your website.

7. Invest in good photography

Last but not least, invest in good quality photography for all your marketing. Whether it’s photos on your website or images for Facebook Ads or Google Shopping ads, good photography could mean the difference in someone clicking on your ad OR losing them to your competitor.
