About the client
1. The Challenge
Hugo & Me started their business in March 2017 with a brand new Shopify website, no social media following and a limited initial marketing budget. After trying a number of online marketing solutions such as running PPC adverts with free £75 vouchers, SEO and email marketing Hugo & Me found that gaining traction was very difficult and orders were few and far between. The initial activity generated less than £500 in sales in the first 3 months.
Hugo & Me needed someone to help generate sales, increase social media exposure and help their brand to gain exposure in a hugely competitive market. After initial conversations with our account management team, it was clear that RTD’s Facebook Marketing services were perfect to accomplish their goals.

The strategy for Hugo & Me was delivered in three strands:
Sales & Retargeting
Retargeting & Dynamic Product Ads
With over 1,500 visitors adding items to cart but only 25% of customers actually placing an order, our team integrated Dynamic Product Ads and along with other retargeting campaigns to convert sales that would have previously been lost.
Since implementing a retargeting strategy, Hugo & Me have managed to recoup an additional 77 sales from customers who were previously lost.
The retargeting campaigns have been consistently delivering between 3x-6.5x return on advertising spend generating over £3,000 of revenue.
